This art was created specifically to help families cope with their most difficult journeys. Our objective is to provide artwork that is not only uplifting, but also reflects the warmth and comfort of a home.
Each piece is individually printed on high quality coated stock and is as stunning as the original…and because the art is uncomplicated in detail, it looks best when it is printed in a very large format.
Creating the Art
Years of trial, error, research and testing have lead us to a creative formula that factors in colour palette, size, scale, complexity and subject matter and more. Each week, our workshop participants create beautiful works of art in a variety of themes while keeping in mind the guidelines for the art that will ultimately help create wonderful, warm and healing environments.
Applying the Art
The art is categorized by theme but we can also recommend the most effective placement areas for each piece within the hospital; recovery, treatment, corridors, waiting. There are very clear and important reasons why the same piece of art may be more suitable and effective in one area versus another.

It is all about having patients and their families feel like they are in a comfortable and familiar place.
Sizing Options
If the objective of the space is to create a healing environment, then it is important to make sure that the art is fairly large. A patient that has to strain their eyes to see an image across the room will not be as comforted by it as one who can easily absorb the image.
It is also important the most critical care areas feature the most uncomplicated artwork/images. A patient waking up from surgery or heavily medicated should not have to focus on anything too detailed.
